The Sanganani Hlanganani World Tourism Expo that opened this week at Zimbabwe International Trade Fair in Bulawayo, opened gates for far away destinations that holiday lovers need for relaxation and refresh outside Zimbabwe.

Bulawayo residents and business entities were blessed with exhibitors from Rwanda, Malawi and South Africa as some of the Exhibitions visited by Zim GBC News crews at the ongoing Tourism Expo.

The foreign exhibitors are here to showcase their products back home and further advise on how Zimbabweans would benefit when they visit tourist destinations in regional lands.

“There are amazing views and scenarios. There is Garden of Eden, Gold Windows, when you want to experience what God has done, come to Mpumalanga.” said one South African exhibitor Magic Dlomo.

With the ever evident Xenophobic attacks pushed by Operation Dudula in the Southern neighboring country, Zimbabweans may feel unsafe to visit the Rainbow Nation, but Dlomo gave assurance that there is nothing to fear.

“We have done everything to ensure that visitors are safe from Dudula and won’t be affected. Their safety is guaranteed with us. We are even trying to make these guys understand the importance of visitors through involving Tourism Safety Monitors”. Said Dlomo.

Engaging in tourism reduces stress, refreshes the mind, and allows one to know and experience new grounds which are substantially significant to the body.

The exhibitors also shared how well Zimbabwean government and tourism sphere works well with other countries.

“Whenever we have such exhibitions within the region, we are mandated to come, we have Memorandums of Understanding, MoUs, with our neighboring countries. This allows us to participate in platforms like this one to share ideas, support one another’s economy and further promote our good working relations”, said Malawian tourism officer Maria Kantchetche.
