The delay in the release of the results emanated from various reason chief amongst them the mini strike by markers over nonpayment of their dues.
The Covid-19 induced lockdowns were another contributory factor to the delay in the release of the examination results.
This has affected the commencement of students progress into higher levels of their education.
Now, Advanced Level for lower six students will begin mid term.
ZIMSEC board has said the release of results, which parents considered late, is normal since the examinations started late November.
